KMRB AM 1430 helped SGVHS run the fundraiser fair on April 7, 2007 at Barnes Park in the City of Monterey Park, California (View map) from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event, cosponsored by the City of Monterey Park raised funds for the specific purpose of installing, maintaining and operating a heating system for the outside kennels of the SGVHS. All proceeds raised were donated to the SGVHS. This fundraiser included pet adoptions, performances, a silent auction, lucky draw and games.
