Clickit Terrain Plus

Proven and Certified

Clickit Terrain is a high-performance car harness for high-performing dogs and occasional travelers. It combines Sleepypod’s award-winning safety technology with enhanced safety and control features, making it comfortable for all-day use. Working and active dogs will benefit from this design.

There are three points of contact to reduce forward and lateral movement in the event of a collision or sudden stop. Crash-tested at U.S., Canadian, and E.U. child safety standards, then independently tested and certified by the Center for Pet Safety with a 5 Star safety rating. Shock-absorbing sleeves work with a broad, padded vest and patented Infinity Loop design to distribute and reduce damaging forces that can cause injury in an accident.

Reflective patches on the harness shoulders can be interchanged with optional service patches. Add the optional Terrain Pack accessory so your pup can carry gear, too!

Use Clickit Terrain as a walking harness before transitioning to a car harness to help alleviate travel anxiety. The energy-absorbing vest wraps around the chest like a reassuring hug.

Certified by the Center for Pet Safety for dogs from 18 to 110 pounds. Dogs differ in size and shape, just like humans. Check the sizing guide for more information.

Please note: Due to the unique body types of breeds like Greyhounds, Whippets, Salukis, Afghan Hounds, and Borzoi, this harness might not offer the proper fit. Email contact@sleepypod.com for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can small dogs less than 18 pounds use Clickit Terrain?
A small dog less than 17-18 pounds tends to have more fragile bone structure, so might be better protected in a carrier in the event of a collision. Check out Sleepypod’s crash tested carriers here.

Do I size up or size down when the measurement is between sizes?
For dogs that are not yet fully grown and within 1 inch of the highest setting, consider sizing up.

Make sure the harness fits tightly before using.

If your dog is full grown, consider sizing down. The fit should be tight, not loose, and fit only three fingers laid flat under the buckles once adjusted correctly.

Can dogs more than 110 pounds use Clickit Terrain?
Sizing is based on measurement rather than weight, however, crash testing and certification for the Clickit Terrain is for dogs of 110 pounds and under.

Can my dog use a booster seat with the Clickit Terrain?
There are many styles and variables so Sleepypod cannot confidently recommend the use of its safety harnesses in combination with another brand’s booster seat without further testing.

How do I wash Clickit Terrain?
Wipe down the front of the vest with a damp cloth. Mild detergent can be used, if needed. Test in an inconspicuous spot to ensure color fastness. Hang to dry. Do not submerge.

Do I need any additional accessories?
Clickit Terrain requires only a seat belt in the rear seat of your vehicle. The seat belt should provide both lap and shoulder straps.

Additional accessories, like Terrain Pack, S-Clip and Buckle Shield, are great additions to any trip but are not required.

Can my dog use Clickit Terrain in the front seat?
Sleepypod recommends buckling your dog into the rear seat, just as you would a child under 95 pounds, to better ensure safety.

Can Clickit Terrain be used in the cargo area?
Sleepypod cannot confidently recommend using Clickit Terrain to restrain your pet in the cargo area due to the number of variables. Please be advised that use in the cargo area might reduce safety.

How do I wash the harness?
Wipe down with a damp cloth. If heavily soiled, a mild detergent can be used. Spot test in an inconspicuous area first. Do not machine wash.

What materials are used?
Clickit Terrain is made of ballistic nylon on the front and neoprene padding on the interior. Straps are made of non-slip seat belt grade material.
